Baljit Singh Dhillon, Head Strategy, Planning and Engineering of Digital Nasional Bhd., has spent 25 years across all layers of technology and industries, specifically in Cybersecurity, Technology, Governance and Architecture.

Baljit has contributed to various organizations to help deliver business results to its fullest and safest potential. In his current portfolio, he prepared and developed a 10-year cybersecurity business plan and strategy to support and secure 5G in Multi Operator Core Network (MOCN) for Malaysia’s only 5G wholesale network.

He created a governance and engagement framework to align regulatory obligations plus ensuring DNB’s cybersecurity posture is transparently communicated to the relevant stakeholders.

Part of the core team who are responsible for the roll out of the 5G network in Malaysia starting 2021, Baljit is responsible for setting up the cybersecurity office since DNB’s inception.

He has also ingrained the importance of cybersecurity and cyber resilience with regards to protecting 5G at board and executive levels to ensure cybersecurity is implemented at all layers effectively and efficiently.
